Week of 12/15!

From green paper circles to..................................

beautiful Christmas trees!! The children worked hard on this project! Hope you enjoy!

This week will find us quite busy!
Reading: We will finish up our Charlotte's Web literature unit with comprehension work along the way.
Math: 2 to 4 digit by 1 digit multiplication We will have a test on Thursday.
Spanish: Mr. Rainey took matters into his own hands and got my cable hooked up to my smart board. This will make viewing Spanish way easier. Because we missed a couple of episodes, we will only test on the part that we covered, which is family members. I will send home a study guide on Monday for our test on Wednesday.
We will be doing a variety of Christmas worksheets that cover topics ranging from logic and reasoning to math story problems and word play. The children will be doing a lot of Christmas projects this week too, with our biggest fun being Polar Pajama Day! Remember kids, wear your PJ's and bring your houseshoes on Tuesday. Parents/volunteers do not have to of course, but can wear your PJ's too! I will be for sure!!
Our Christmas party will be 2:00 on Thursday.
I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!
ps: Be sure to check back for a slideshow of our gingerbread house making!
