Week of 4/20

Wow! It was a crazy week. It will be so nice to get back into a regular routine! The kids and I need it! We will be having the Otis-Lennon Achievement test on Tuesday, but other then that, things will be back to normal.

Math - We will be going back to fractions and going more in depth with them. We will be covering mixed numbers, improper fractions, and GCF.

Reading - Literature Circles, Reading games

Spelling - List 28 (suffixes) Check spellingcity.com

English - Homophones, quotation marks, poetry, editing

Social Studies - We will finish up talking about the Southwest on Monday, take a test over the 4 state locations and their capitals on Tuesday, and begin covering the West on Wednesday.

Our auction will be on Monday, May 4th. Brady Lippard will be auctioneering for us!! It will be a neat day!

Don't forget about our ABC's of the last days of the year! I sent home a calendar to refer to this past Wednesday.

I wanted to say thank you to Autumn Hayden and Gwen Price for donating snacks for our testing days. The kids and I greatly appreciated it!!
