I can't believe how fast these last days are ticking away! I had to shed a few tears this morning about letting these precious babies go! I pray many blessings over them in the coming years!
Busy week ahead!
Reading - We are reading Stone Fox as a class. The children have comprehension pages and vocabulary work that accompany the story. On Thursday, we will get to watch the movie and compare/contrast the book to the movie.
English - Review work
Math - Review work
Science - Weather - We will also continue to journal about our terrariums and grassheads. One day this week, we will have hair cut day with our grassheads too! Fun! Also, we will be doing the scientific method with our egg drop containers.
Social Studies - Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell
Spelling - done
Reminders - Our Egg Drop will be Thursday at 9:00. The Egg Container is worth 200 points in science. Can't wait to see what you all come up with!
We will have 3 guest speakers this week.......1 on Tuesday and 2 on Wednesday.
The Leonardo's field trip is on Friday! Yeah! We can't wait! Let's pray for good weather. It looks like we have a chance of rain.
The Spring Fling is on Friday too! It starts at 5:30!
Thanks for coming to Parent's Day! It meant a lot to your children! I thought they did an awesome job!
That's all for now! Oh, I wanted to say though, that the State Floats were unbelievable! Wow! I am amazed at the creative ability of you all! They all are terrific! We have had lots of compliments!!
